Location Scout

For years and years I've been wanting to scout out other parts of the country for a potential place to relocate to.  I finally did a scouting trip to North Carolina and I liked it a lot.  Definitely high on the list!  I will add pictures to this layout as soon as I get them printed out.  Althought I almost don't want to add anything because I love all the patterns together.

I've done cards with this theme before, but I can't help myself from doing it again. I just think it's so cute with the typewriter!  Anyway, I've been so pleased with how versatile the 24/7 line at the Scrapbooking Studio. The colors are perfect if you want to do masculine layouts or cards.  The line includes so many cute stickers and FOUR alphas!!  See below for pictures of the sticker sheet.  I may have to add some yellow pom-pon trim to this at some point.  I think that would finish it off nicely.

 

Be Brave Little Hobbit!!

This is my favorite project completed with the 24/7 line from Simple Stories.  Just before doing this page, I had watched The Hobbit and I couldn't help but think how much like a hobbit I am. 

If you don't know anything about hobbits, they like to stay safe at home and aren't big risk takers. Well I tend to be a homebody and I usually do the safe, practical thing.  But just like Bilbo was brave, I need to be too. I need to get out into the world and go on adventures.

 

Make Today Ridiculously Amazing!

For my May design team assignment at the Scrapbooking Studio, I got the awesome 24/7 line from Simple Stories.  For my altered project, I decided to frame one of the sayings and surround the saying with a ridiculous number of flowers!  Definitely need to put this in a prominent place to remind myself that everyday can be amazing, if I choose to make it that way.
